Our project-based initiatives make a difference. We want to tackle problems in innovative ways, marry needs and resources, and remove obstacles to progress. Help support our projects, and join us in improving lives.

We design each project with three goals in mind:
1. To engage all participants and volunteers in meaningful ways.
2. To take concrete steps towards improving the lives of others.
3. To redefine the way we integrate work, life, and community so that everyone can thrive.

Post-partum depression is a very common experience for mothers and should be talked about a lot more in society. The birth of a baby can trigger a jumble of powerful emotions, from excitement and joy to fear and anxiety. But it can also result in something you might not expect — depression. Join us and learn from somatic psychotherapist Alexis Azzam, MFT.

Many new moms experience the "postpartum baby blues" after childbirth, which commonly include mood swings, crying spells, anxiety and difficulty sleeping. Baby blues typically begin within the first two to three days after delivery, and may last for up to two weeks.

Postpartum depression isn't a character flaw or a weakness. Sometimes it's simply a complication of giving birth. If you have postpartum depression, prompt treatment can help you manage your symptoms — and enjoy your baby. We want to encourage our community to have discussions about how to support one another during parenthood.
